I constantly struggle thinking that I need to reorganize my life and change who I am. What I’ve realized after years of still not feeling adequate is that I am not changing the RIGHT things. In this post I am going to show all you beautiful humans how to become her (your best self) and how to be more comfortable with who you are!

What does becoming her mean?

Becoming her is all about becoming the best version of yourself and transforming into the woman you have always wanted and strived to be. Becoming her is a pathway to self-discovery and self-improvement.

It is creating a female character that you strive to be but that is also attainable for you personally to achieve. This character is your best version of yourself and not someone that is impossible to aspire to be.

This post will show you a step-by-step guide on how to become the woman you have always wanted to be!

Note: this post is a step-by-step guide on becoming your best self and not trying to become someone else. Becoming her means transforming into a higher version of yourself while still staying true to your own genuine character.

Becoming Her: the step by step guide

Step 1: set your goals

Create a list of goals that you want to achieve for yourself.

Ask yourself what does becoming her look like to you. What goals do you want to achieve and what changes do you want to make?

Write down your areas in your life you feel you are lacking. For example, do you feel as if you lack organization, confidence, time for yourself etc. Find out what aspects of your life you want to change.

Are there any habits that you want to break? For example, do you drink too much, do you eat too much, do you put yourself down? Write down all the habits that you want to break. If you feel there are too many habits that you can’t break choose your top two to change.

For example my goals would be to save more money, put myself down less, be more confident in myself, drink less alcohol, and to be more organized.

Once you write down all the goals you want to achieve and all the habits but you want to break write down how you are going to do those things. What is your plan of action to change the things that you don’t like about yourself?

Step 2. Be Positive

To become the best version of yourself you want to be less hard on yourself. Stop putting yourself down and stop allowing other people to put you down.

Don’t let negative things that people say about you cause you to feel down, if you know those things are not true then they shouldn’t bother you.

Be kinder to yourself. Start your days by looking in the mirror and say out loud one thing that you like about yourself physically and one thing that you like about yourself internally. Doing this a few times a week practices self love and allows you to feel happier.

Surround yourself with people that make you happy and that bring you up. Get rid of anyone in your life who is negative, is an energy vampire, and anyone who constantly puts you down.

Step 3. Identify your core values

Identifying your core values helps you to easily make better choices that are suited for you and your desires.

Ask yourself what your top three core values are. Do you value friendship or do you value family or do you value money or do you value time. Make a list of your three most important values and this will help you to make decisions in your life.

Step 4. Becoming Her: Design Your Dream Life

So this is where it gets fun.

Take a few moments to visualize in your head what your ultimate dream life would look like.

Envision all the details: what job do you have, how much money do you make, what does your house look like or what does your space look like.

Below is a list that I want you to write down in a notebook and answer each question. I want you to answer each question with not how you are currently but with how you want to be. Answer each question as if you are creating a character, this character is the ultimate version of yourself and who you strive to be.

Step 6. Learn to be Happy with Yourself

Becoming her not only involves improving yourself but it also involves being happy with yourself. In order to be the best version of you, it requires being confident and comfortable with who you are.

Being happy with yourself does not just happen overnight, it takes a lot of hard work. You have to practice self-love consistently and be less hard on yourself. It can be very hard being a woman with all the beauty standards and all the expectations, but you need to recognize the positive qualities that you possess and be happy with the woman that you are.

Continue to consistently work on yourself and strive to be the best woman that you can be.

Step 7. Consistent work on building your confidence

being confident is a lifelong journey. The art of being confident is a combination of self-love, self-acceptance and comfortability.

confidence is not just in your appearance – though looking good and dressing good does play a large role in feeling good. But confidence is also how you feel on the inside. If you can learn to be comfortable with who you are and to be happy with the woman that you are as well as not letting other people bring you down then you are on the right path.

Tips on How to Feel Confident

  • Stop comparing yourself to others
  • compliment yourself regularly
  • eat healthy and exercise regularly
  • practice good hygiene
  • daily self-love meditations and affirmations
  • stop having negative thoughts about yourself
  • do two social things a week that scare you (ex. Start up a conversation with someone you normally wouldn’t talk to)
  • learn to be decisive in your decisions
  • learn to embrace change rather than being afraid of it
  • always be learning something new
  • celebrate other people’s successes and happiness as well as your own
  • stop being afraid of what others think of you and if you look foolish sometimes
  • learn to laugh at yourself
  • Accept compliments when they are given to you don’t feel awkward about them, embrace them
  • do not worry about other people’s opinions
  • take on new challenges when they are presented to you
  • celebrate your small wins
  • dress nicely with clothes that compliment your body type
  • surround yourself with positive people who make you feel good

The most successful people in life are the ones that are constantly learning new things.

The only way to keep evolving as a human is to work our mind and consistently be learning something new. Constantly expensively exciting new marriage allows you to become more intelligent and evolve to a higher version of yourself.

The best way to learn new things is to step out of your comfort zone! Below are some examples of ways that you can expand your knowledge in new and exciting ways.
